Tesco Stronger Starts Cooks

Over the last few weeks our 6th class girls took part in the Tesco Stronger Starts Cooks Programme, an exciting initiative that helps children learn about healthy eating and cooking in a fun, hands-on way. The girls had a fantastic day working alongside representatives from our local Tesco, preparing and tasting their own delicious dishes. The girls all received certificates, recipe books and a wooden spoon so they can continue to use the cooking skills they learned in school at home.

We were also delighted to welcome  TD Erin Mc Greehan, who stopped by to see the programme in action and chat with the students about what they were learning.

Next week 30 of out girls willl get to take part in more interactive activities, exploring where our food comes from and how to make healthy choices.
